EVNHCM restarts key power projects

A line-up of key projects has still implemented during social distancing, including: Cat Lai – Tan Cang 220kV transmission line, Binh Tan – Cau Bong 220 – 110kV line, Phuoc Long 110kV substation and connection lines, renovating Hoc Mon – Tan Quy 110kV line, Phu Lam – Phu Dinh 1 & 2 line, Hoc Mon – Ba Queo line, etc.
Suspension projects are restarted such as: replacing new 40MVA transformer at Tan Thuan station, increasing power supply to Tan Thuan IZ, installing T3 220/110kV and AT5 220/110kV Hiep Binh Phuoc transformer stations.

Electricity price reduction

EVN proactively proposed electricity price reduction package to Government as details as below:
– 100% of households will enjoy a 10% off total bills for electricity consumption between grades 1 to 4 (under 300 kWWh)
– Manufacturing establishments, covid-19 isolation, medical examination and treatment facilities, etc. also reduced electricity consumption price according to certain percentage.
