In recent years, Viet Nam has increased its non-hydro renewable capacity targets in its power development plan, from 9.4% to 21% of total installed capacity in 2030, and decreased the share of coal-fired capacity from 52% to 43% – ADB.
As one of the fastest growing economies in Asia-Pacific, Vietnam’s infrastructure demands are fast outfacing supply; by 2021 energy requirements will have risen by another 10%. With a highly-skilled, young workforce and a forward-thinking government investment plan, Vietnam presents an attractive foreign investment landscape and a strong desire to explore green energy initiatives to fullfill the longterm demand.
In this webinar entitled “Developing Vietnam’s Energy Industry” you will learn about clean-tech concepts, Vietnam’s advanced energy landscape and the latest challenges in Vietnam which require your industry-leading solutions.
This webinar is as a part of GLOBAL ENERGY & UTILITIES DIGITAL WEEK from 10 – 13 August 2020.
